Olbutyo Girl’s High School in Chepalungu sub County, Bomet County has announced plans to host a two-day soccer and volleyball tournament on May 16 and 17, 2026, bringing together young players for what promises to be an exciting display of talent, teamwork and sportsmanship.
The tournament, which will be held at the school grounds, is expected to attract teams from various schools across the region.
The organisers say the event is aimed at nurturing sporting talent while strengthening bonds among learning institutions through healthy competition.
Both soccer and volleyball teams are invited to register and take part in the highly anticipated games.
Registration fees have been set at Ksh 1,500 for soccer teams and Ksh 1,000 for volleyball teams. Participating teams are required to come with their own balls and volleyball nets in line with standard regulations.

The players are also expected to wear properly numbered jerseys as per official guidelines.
All teams have been advised to report at the venue by 9:00 a.m. on both days to ensure smooth coordination of fixtures.
The competition comes ahead of term two games which will kick off in late May.
The school officials have expressed confidence that the tournament will not only provide a competitive platform for students but also inspire discipline, resilience and unity among participants.
The sports enthusiasts have been encouraged to attend and support the young talents as they battle for top honors.
