Monire Junior Secondary School of Bomet continued its impressive start to the East Africa Junior School Games with a goalless draw on Monday, August 17, 2026.

The Bomet side, representing Kenya at the regional competition, battled hard for the point in a closely contested encounter but could not find the breakthrough as both teams settled for a 0-0 draw.

The result means Monire remain unbeaten after three matches, having collected one victory and two draws in a promising start to their campaign.

Monire had earlier demonstrated their attacking and defensive qualities in the tournament, and their latest clean-sheet performance further underlined the team’s organisation at the back.

The young Bomet players now have an opportunity to strengthen their position when they return to action on Tuesday.
