Bomet: Royal Stars Academy posts strong results in KJSEA

Learners and staff at The Royal Stars Academy (Junior School) in Bomet County are upbeat after the school recorded an impressive mean score of 6.333 in the 2025 KJSEA.

The Royal Stars Academy (Junior School) in Bomet County has recorded outstanding performance in the 2025 Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA), underscoring its commitment to academic excellence under the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC).

The school achieved an average mean score of 6.333 out of 8, equivalent to 79 percent, placing it among the top performers in the region.

Learners excelled across all subjects, with Integrated Science, Social Studies, and Christian Religious Education (CRE) attaining Exceeding Expectation (EE2) levels, each scoring 7 points. This highlights the students’ strong understanding and practical application of concepts.

Other subjects—including English, Kiswahili, Mathematics, Agriculture, Creative Arts & Sports, and Pre-Technical Studies—achieved Meeting Expectation (ME1) levels, scoring 6 points each, reflecting consistent and balanced academic development.

School leadership credited the results to the dedication of teachers, supportive parents, and disciplined learners.

“These achievements reflect our shared commitment to nurturing holistic learners who are academically competent and values-driven,” said a school representative.

The 2025 KJSEA success marks a milestone for the school’s CBC pioneers. It reinforces The Royal Stars Academy’s growing reputation as a centre of excellence in Kenyagoro, Boito, Konoin Sub-county, Bomet County.
