Bomet, Chepchabas Ward Member of County Assembly (MCA), Wesley Kiprotich has donated school uniforms to needy learners at Chepchabas Comprehensive School in Konoin sub county, fulfilling his pledge to promote school attendance and restoring dignity among vulnerable children.
The beneficiaries, drawn from Grade 2 to Grade 9, received uniforms during a visit by the MCA, who noted that lack of basic learning necessities continues to hinder access to education for many children in the ward.
He emphasized that no child should miss school due to poverty-related challenges.
While lauding the progress made through the initiative, Kiprotich revealed that more pupils are still in need of assistance and appealed to well-wishers, organizations and community members to come on board and support the programme through the school’s Head of Institution, Rotich.
