Bishop shines at 63rd KNUT ADC for prominent role

At the recent 63rd KNUT ADC at Kasarani, Bishop Dr. Joshua Cheptarus, a notable figure among KNUT officials, garnered respect for his prominent role.

During the 23rd KNUT ADC at Kasarani, the Bishop received a standing ovation, symbolizing his dual roles as a shepherd in the church and an advocate for the rights and well-being of teachers in Baringo County.

In an interview at Kasarani, Dr. Cheptarus shared his gratitude, attributing his election victory to the belief of Baringo County teachers in his potential as an agent of change within KNUT.

Recognized by Secretary-General Collins Oyuu, Dr. Cheptarus was invited to lead a prayer for the assembled delegates before the meeting commenced.

Traveling with a delegation of KNUT officials from Baringo County, Dr. Cheptarus expressed his satisfaction in advocating for teachers’ rights, emphasizing that a comfortable and psychologically stable teacher positively impacts learners.

He underscored the collaborative efforts of elected leaders in the county, working cohesively for the benefit of both teachers and learners.

Driven by spiritual conviction, Dr. Cheptarus commended the dedication of teachers in Baringo County, specifically acknowledging their tireless efforts in promoting education for both girls and boys.
