As the national examination season kicks off across the country, Chefman Isaac Njoroge, the Member of County Assembly (MCA) for Kahumbu Ward in Muranga County, has sent a heartfelt message of encouragement to candidates sitting for the 2025 KPSEA, KJSEA, and KCSE examinations.

Through the Chefman Isaac Njoroge Foundation, the MCA launched a countywide goodwill campaign to motivate learners to approach their exams with courage, focus, and self-belief.

His message — themed “Believe, Focus, and Excel” — celebrates the resilience, discipline, and determination of learners who have persevered through a challenging academic year to reach this defining moment.

“This is your moment to shine,” Njoroge told candidates in his statement.

He added: “You have worked hard, learned with dedication, and grown in knowledge and character. Approach every paper with confidence, focus, and faith in yourself.”

He emphasised that success is not a matter of luck. Still, the result of consistent effort, discipline, and determination, urging students to trust their preparation and remain calm throughout the exam period.

Njoroge also reminded candidates that examinations are not merely tests of memory, but reflections of perseverance, patience, and inner strength.

The MCA lauded teachers, parents, and education stakeholders for guiding learners to this milestone, describing their role as pivotal in shaping future leaders.

He reaffirmed his foundation’s commitment to strengthening education programs across Kahumbu Ward through mentorship, bursaries, and improvements to school infrastructure.

“We are proud of how far our students have come, and we believe in the bright future that lies ahead of them. May success crown their efforts and open doors to even greater achievements,” he said.

Njoroge further revealed plans to host a celebration party and public seminar for exam candidates at the Kahumbu Hill Agro-Ecology and Vocational Training Centre once the examinations conclude.

The event, he said, will focus on preparing students for the next stage of their journey by equipping them with practical life skills, career guidance, and motivational talks from professionals.

The goodwill message comes as more than 2.5 million learners nationwide begin their end-of-year national assessments — including the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA), Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA), and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).

The MCA’s uplifting message has since been widely shared across schools and social media platforms, earning praise from educators and parents alike as a timely morale booster — reminding students that with hard work, belief, and focus, success is within reach.
