In a remarkable act of sacrifice, the children’s maternal aunt, who recently gave birth to her own child, has been breastfeeding the twins alongside her baby while helping care for the five children with support from their stepbrother.

Family members say the burden has become overwhelming despite receiving assistance from well-wishers.

“We are doing everything we can to ensure the children are safe, but we cannot manage alone. They need food, clothing, medical care and many other basic necessities,” said the children’s uncle, Moses Losike.

The family has received food donations from a local church and mattresses from World Vision but says the support is insufficient to meet the children’s long-term needs.

“Our greatest concern is giving these children a stable future. We are appealing to anyone willing to help to stand with us during this difficult time,” Losike added.

The family is appealing to members of the public, charitable organisations and well-wishers to support the children with food, clothing, healthcare and other essential supplies.

Those wishing to assist can send donations via M-Pesa to Moses Losike on 0716 482 237 or contact Kedisia on 0727 437 886 for further information.
