A group of students from Baringo Central is set to embark on an exciting career journey to Germany this August after securing employment opportunities there.
The students have completed B2-level German language training at the German Institute Kabarnet, meeting the required proficiency standards for living and working in Germany. This accomplishment marks a significant milestone in their pursuit of international employment.
The initial cohort of six students is expected to depart first, with more candidates scheduled to join the program once they complete their training by September. Currently, visa processing is underway, with support from the office of Baringo Central Member of Parliament Joshua Kandie.
This initiative is the result of a collaborative partnership between the MP’s office and Michael Wörle, the Mayor of Gersthofen, Germany.

The initiative is seen as a major step forward in empowering the youth of Baringo Central, offering them the opportunity not only to secure jobs but also to build international careers.
