The Allan Chesang Foundation, a philanthropic arm run by Trans Nzoia Senator Allan Chesang has continued to leave indelible mark on the educational sector in the County, with the latest initiatives, including; drilling boreholes and donating sanitary towels bringing hope and joy to hundreds of students.

Speaking to Education News, Senator Chesang beamed with pride, said “I am just a vessel, channeling resources to where they are needed most. My selflessness is driven by the desire to see Trans Nzoia’s learners thrive.”

The foundation has drilled boreholes for over 200 primary and secondary schools, providing clean water and sanitation facilities, and easing the burden on students and teachers.

In addition to the borehole project, the foundation has donated sanitary towels to schools, promoting girls’ education and hygiene. On World Menstruation Day last year, the team visited Chematich Senior School and Chematich Junior Secondary School, distributing sanitary towels and celebrating the strength and resilience of young girls.

Chesang’s philanthropy extends beyond education infrastructure. His foundation has also supported healthcare initiatives, provided scholarships to needy students, and empowered local communities through economic empowerment programs.

“We’re not just building schools; we’re building futures,” Chesang said. “I’m committed to continuing this noble work, ensuring Trans Nzoia’s learners have the resources they need to succeed.”

As the foundation continues to make waves in Trans Nzoia, Chesang’s selflessness serves as a beacon of hope for the region’s learners. His dedication to transforming the county’s educational sector is a testament to his unwavering commitment to the people of Trans Nzoia.
