In a major boost for St. Joseph’s Boys School Kitale, Moses Otieno, the standout MVP of the 2025 Agai Mixed Secondary School squad, has officially joined the school as preparations intensify for the 2026 Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) games.
Otieno’s exceptional performance during the school games, which earned him the Most Valuable Player award, is expected to strengthen Kitale’s squad and elevate their chances in the upcoming national competition.
Coaches and teammates alike have welcomed his arrival, citing his skill, leadership, and competitive experience as key assets.
St. Joseph’s Boys School, under the guidance of Chief Principal Cosmas Nabungolo, enters the 2026 season with high expectations after being crowned KSSSA champions in 2025 and securing a bronze medal at the Federation of East and Central Africa Secondary Schools Associations (FEASSA) games.

The new players, including Otieno, were carefully scouted during the 2025 KSSSA and FESSA tournaments, ensuring that only the most talented athletes join the squad.
