The Kisii County Education Board has disbanded Kenyoro PAG Secondary School Management Committee citing incompetence.
The board’s Chair Prof. Henry Onderi said the committee in the school is wanting.
According to the chairman, the principal of the school is alleged to have been in internal undue intrigues with the committee for a long time.
Prof Onderi, however, asked the sub-county director of education to facilitate the immediate replacement of the disbanded board.
Speaking to Education News, the workaholic Chair said his office had already written to the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) asking it to advise the principal.
“We found the principal with gross misdemeanor and so there is no reason of not of asking his employer to take necessary correctional steps on him,” said Prof Onderi.
According to Kisii County Education report, the principal is accused of mismanagement of school property, failure to coordinate the board and teachers for harmonious working relationship.
