Examination officials deployed to various schools in Siaya County have been told to take their work seriously to achieve maximum efficiency.
According to the County TSC Director, Dr. Samuel Marigat, principals, supervisors and invigilators should work as a team to win the confidence of the students.
“You need to work together so that candidates do not meet strangers who are reading from different scripts which is likely to cause more anxiety,” he said.
He told the examination officials that the entire examination process will only be enjoyable when they work as a team and every one of them discharges their duty effectively.
“You will be dealing with lives of people, so good preparations and co-ordination is key. One wrong move by any of you might spell doom to the lives of candidates who have worked so hard over the last four years,” said the director.
Area Deputy County Commissioner Joseph Onyango, who attended the briefing, assured the public that they will provide constant security in all the 43 examination centres in Rarieda Sub County.
