The Ministry of Education has been told to allow corporal punishment in schools.
Laikipia Senator John Kinyua said this will curb rising cases of unrest in schools, adding that indiscipline was the main cause of student indiscipline in schools.
He was speaking at Tharua Secondary School where he commissioned a classroom built by national government.
He also called for smooth transition in teacher transfers to prepare students. – Our Reporter
