- TSC has reshuffled senior administrators in another round of transfers, deployments and promotions across the country.
- The changes affect County Directors, Sub-County Directors and officers serving at the Commission’s headquarters.
- Several officers have moved to new stations while others have earned promotions to senior administrative positions.
The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has announced a reshuffle of senior administrative officers, reassigning County Directors, Sub-County Directors and headquarters staff across several regions. The changes form part of the Commission’s ongoing administrative reorganisation.
County and Sub-County Directors oversee teacher management within their areas under TSC’s organisational structure.
The outgoing Wajir County Director, Mohamed Gabow, has been transferred to Kwale. He previously served as headteacher of Qudama Primary School in Wajir North.
Mary Kinyanjui moves from Murang’a to Meru County. Mary Kola, formerly Deputy Director in charge of Discipline at TSC headquarters, takes over the Murang’a posting.
Daniel Kioko has been transferred from Bomet to TSC headquarters, where he will serve as Deputy Director in charge of Discipline. Solomon Buyela, previously the acting County Director for Siaya, has been appointed acting County Director for Bomet.
Caroline Nandi moves from Kericho to Siaya, while Emmy Kiget, who has been serving in Tharaka Nithi, takes over in Kericho.
Regina Opondo has moved from her Meru County posting on promotion to become Nairobi Regional Director.
Changes at sub-county level
At the sub-county level, Olima Kelvin has been appointed Sub-County Director for Baringo North, while Linet Adongo takes up the same role in Kisumu East. Jackson Mutai moves from Nairobi to Kajiado County, where he will continue serving as a Sub-County Director.
Leonard Mzungu has been transferred from Kaloleni to Kinango Sub-County. Marietta Mwambanda leaves Kinango after a brief stay at the station. Hanjari Kaingu, previously the Sub-County Director for Nyali, has been promoted to Deputy Sub-County Director in Kilifi. Kaingu previously served as a headteacher in Kinango Sub-County before moving into TSC administration.
Mohamed N. Mohamed moves from Bute Sub-County in Wajir North to take up the position of Sub-County Director for Takaba in Mandera West. Mohammed Tulo moves from Takaba to Bute in Wajir North, while Noor Mohammed transfers from Bute to Takaba.
Dadow moves from Buna to Banisa Sub-County as its new Sub-County Director. Omar transfers from Hadado to Kiliweheri Sub-County in the same capacity.
Promotions in reshuffle
Idris Maalim Noor has been promoted from his position as Sub-County Director in Kyuso to Deputy County Director for Garissa.
Violet Kawira Gerald has also been promoted to Sub-County Director for Marimanti Sub-County in Tharaka Nithi County.

The changes include transfers, deployments and promotions within the Commission. For teachers and school administrators, the incoming directors will become key points of contact for teacher-management matters, including recruitment, transfers, promotions and discipline.
