A family in Kivagala, North Maragoli, Vihiga County, is appealing for help to trace their 17-year-old daughter, who has been missing for more than two weeks.
Velma Andisi, a Grade 10 student at Kivagala Secondary School, reportedly went missing on the evening of September 9, 2026, leaving her family distressed and uncertain about her whereabouts.
According to her relatives, efforts to locate her have been unsuccessful despite searches conducted in Kivagala and surrounding areas.
Police investigating disappearance
The family has since reported the matter to the police, who have launched investigations into the circumstances surrounding the student’s disappearance.
Relatives are now appealing to residents and members of the public to provide any information that could help establish Velma’s whereabouts.
Anyone who may have seen her or has information concerning her location is urged to report to the nearest police station or contact her family directly on 0729 791 389.
