- Sameta drew 2-2 with Indomitable Soldiers before losing 1-0 to Awendo Football Academy in their final group match.
- Awendo Academy and Indomitable Soldiers have advanced to the semi-finals after playing out a goalless draw that eliminated Sameta on goal difference.
Sameta High School’s Chapa Dimba Nyanza Region campaign has come to an end after the school finished third in its pool and missed out on a place in the semi-finals.
Sameta managed one point from their two matches. They opened their campaign with a 2-2 draw against Indomitable Soldiers after staging a spirited comeback from two goals down to earn a share of the spoils. However, their hopes of progressing were dealt a major blow in their final pool match when they suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat against Awendo Football Academy.
Sameta were then left relying on the outcome of the final match between Awendo Academy and Indomitable Soldiers to determine their fate. Awendo Academy held Indomitable Soldiers to a barren draw, a result that saw both sides qualify for the semi-finals and confirmed Sameta’s elimination.

Awendo Academy topped the pool with four points and a positive goal difference of one, while Indomitable Soldiers finished second with two points and a level goal difference. Sameta finished third with one point and a negative goal difference of one.
The elimination ends Sameta High School’s run at the Nyanza regional stage, while Awendo Academy and Indomitable Soldiers advance to the semi-finals in their pursuit of the Chapa Dimba title.
