- Students have been advised to collect their laptops from the JKUAT Industrial Park in Juja after making payment, with the offer running while stocks last.
Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) has reduced the price of its Taifa laptops from Sh58,500 to Sh40,000 in a special clearance offer targeting first-year students.
The offer was announced in a notice signed by Dr Aggrey Wanyama, Registrar (Academic Affairs), addressed to all first-year students. The university said the new price represents a Sh18,500 reduction and will apply while stocks last, owing to the limited number of units currently available. JKUAT encouraged interested students to take advantage of the discounted price before the available stock is exhausted.
The Taifa laptops are being offered as students begin their university studies, with the computers expected to support learning, research and other academic activities.

Students wishing to purchase the laptops are required to pay Sh40,000 to the JKUAT Taifa Laptop Project account at KCB Juja Branch, account number 1254510834. Upon making payment, students can purchase and collect their laptops directly from the JKUAT Industrial Park, located at the university’s main campus in Juja.
