Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST) has directed all Year I and Year II students in the School of Agricultural and Food Sciences (SAFS) to report to the university’s Main Campus in Bondo for the 2026/2027 academic year.
The directive was issued through an internal memo dated August 31, 2026, by the Registrar, Academic and Student Affairs, Dr Michael Ngala.
According to the memo, all 2026/2027 Year I and Year II SAFS students will undertake their studies at the Main Campus in Bondo, marking a shift in their reporting station for the new academic year.
The announcement provides clarity to students on where they are expected to report and undertake their academic programmes during the 2026/2027 academic year.
SAFS currently based in Siaya town
JOOUST, a public university whose Main Campus is in Bondo, has continued to expand its academic programmes and student intake.
The School of Agricultural and Food Sciences is among the university’s academic schools, with programmes focusing on agriculture, food security and related fields.
The school is currently located in Siaya town, about 14 miles from the university’s Main Campus in Bondo.

Students affected by the latest directive have therefore been urged to take note of the reporting station and make the necessary preparations to undertake their studies at the Main Campus in Bondo.
