Bomet University has come alive tonight as students gather for the much-anticipated Freshers Night, with the event now underway amid entertainment, interaction and celebration.
The event is designed to welcome new students into the university community while giving both freshers and continuing students an opportunity to socialise, make new friends and enjoy a memorable night away from their usual academic routines.
The Freshers Night is being hosted by Presidents Ruth Zico and Collins Ndiwa, with students gathering as the university community comes together for the celebrations.
The event has been promoted as “one campus, one night to remember,” with students encouraged to turn up and be part of the Friday night festivities.
Welcoming freshers to campus
For many of the freshers, the occasion offers a chance to officially begin their university social experience and interact with colleagues from different backgrounds and academic programmes.
The organisers have also added a nostalgic element to the event by bringing back the popular “When I grow up, I would like to be a…” theme, prompting students to reflect on childhood dreams and the careers they once imagined pursuing.
The theme is expected to generate fun conversations among students as they compare their childhood ambitions with their current academic and career paths.
Night of entertainment and interaction
