Wanandege Sacco Society Limited has sponsored bright pupils of its members who performed well in the 2017 KCPE with its annual school fees sponsorship.
Speaking during the 41st Annual Delegates Meeting Wanandege Sacco National Chairman, John Matheka said this year two bright pupils of its members were given a shopping voucher worth Sh15, 000 and paid full school fees for first term each.
The pupils who were the beneficiaries are Jeremy Kamau of Alliance Boys and Mellisa Jelimo of St Joseph’s Chepterit Girls.
Jeremy received First Term school fees sponsorship of Sh27,596 totaling to Sh42,596 while Mellisa got Sh26,777 amounting 41,777 .
The duo (Jeremy and Mellisa) are the children of two Kenya Airways (KQ) employees Susan Nyambura and Fredrick Cheruyot respectively.
Matheka said the annual sponsorship is strictly to its Sacco members only and its open for both public and privates schools.
