Officials expressed regret over the changes and apologized for any inconvenience caused to schools, coaches, players and other stakeholders.
The adjustments come as schools across the country continue to face budgetary constraints that have affected the organization of co-curricular activities.
Despite the changes, teams are expected to continue preparations for the remaining disciplines as Narok county gears up for the revised championship schedule.
