The decision was reached after sports officials reviewed the circumstances surrounding the abandonment of the highly anticipated match, which was marred by chaos and interruptions that prevented its completion.

In a further development, teachers alleged to have been involved in planning or facilitating the disruption have been referred to the Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) for possible disciplinary action.

Officials said the move is aimed at protecting the integrity of school sports and ensuring accountability for actions that interfere with fair competition.

Measures to Ensure Order

Sports administrators have emphasised that measures will be put in place to guarantee order and security when the final is eventually played.
