Tesh Football Academy has commenced weekend training sessions at Kisii School, where it is using the institution’s facilities while operating independently in coaching and administration.
According to the organisers, the programme is designed to provide young people in Kisii with structured football development opportunities outside the regular school sports system. The academy currently trains 17 children aged between 4 and 17, drawn from across the community and not limited to Kisii School learners.

Co-founder Charles Atuti has called on parents to enroll their children, noting that the academy offers a supportive environment for talent development through professional coaching.
He noted that the initiative focuses on technical skills, teamwork, fitness, and character building, while also keeping children engaged during weekends and holidays.
He further alluded that the academy aims to expand into a full youth development structure with multiple age-group teams feeding into county, school, and national youth competitions.
