Defending Bomet County basketball 3×3 champions Kimulot Boys High School underlined their sporting dominance after clinching multiple titles during the Konoin Sub-County secondary school term two games.

Playing on home soil, Kimulot produced a commanding performance in the basketball 3×3 final, thrashing Boito Boys 13-1 to successfully secure the Konoin sub-county crown.

The emphatic victory highlighted the school’s growing reputation as one of the leading basketball powerhouses in the region.

Guided by coach Norah Chebet and backed by Senior Principal Erick Korir, Kimulot displayed superior teamwork, discipline and tactical awareness throughout the competition, leaving their opponents with little chance of mounting a challenge.

The school’s success extended to the rugby field, where Kimulot once again proved too strong for Boito Boys.

In a thrilling final, Kimulot emerged victorious with a 21-7 win to add another title to their growing collection.

Meanwhile, football fans at Itare grounds were treated to a fiercely contested showdown between long-time rivals Kimulot Boys and Koiwa High School.

The encounter lived up to expectations, with both teams battling intensely for supremacy.

After a tightly contested match ended 1-1 at the end of normal regulation time, the two sides headed into extra time with the winner still undecided.

Kimulot, however, showed resilience and determination when it mattered most, scoring the decisive goal in extra time to secure a hard-fought 2-1 victory.

The win sparked celebrations among players, teachers and supporters as Kimulot completed a remarkable day of sporting excellence across different disciplines.
