Students at Tenwek Senior School in Bomet County have been urged to remain disciplined, focused and determined in pursuit of academic excellence during a form three consultative forum that brought together parents, teachers and learners.

The forum, which focused on mentorship and academic growth, emphasized the importance of collaboration among educators, parents and students in shaping responsible and successful young people.

Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, Wilson Tonui, CEO and Founder of WITO Boresha Maisha Organisation, described education mentorship as one of the greatest investments in modern society, saying learners must take advantage of the opportunities available to them while still in school.

Tonui challenged students to maximize their potential by embracing hard work, discipline and consistency, noting that being in a highly performing academic institution was a privilege that should never be taken for granted.

He warned learners against destructive behaviors that could jeopardize their future, including drug and substance abuse, peer pressure, misuse of social media and negative company.

According to him, many bright students fail to achieve their dreams after losing focus at critical stages of their education journey.
