Teachers and staff from Goitab Silibwet Secondary School in Bomet County yesterday held their annual academic strategic and reflection meeting in Kisumu City as part of efforts to strengthen the institution’s academic performance and future planning.
The meeting brought together members of staff to review the school’s academic progress, reflect on achievements and set new targets aimed at improving performance and increasing the number of students joining universities and other higher learning institutions.
The institution continues to register positive academic growth, with improved academic results and a rising number of learners securing university placements.
The delegation was led by Principal Ann Koskei, Deputy Principal Emmy Rutto and Outreach/Tour Chairperson Justus Kiplangat.
Their leadership and commitment were hailed as key pillars in the school’s continued academic transformation.
During the session, staff members reaffirmed their commitment to teamwork, discipline, mentorship and innovative teaching strategies geared towards sustaining the school’s upward academic trajectory.

The retreat also offered an opportunity for teachers to strengthen professional collaboration, exchange ideas and explore new approaches to student mentorship and academic excellence.
The staff expressed optimism that the resolutions reached during the Kisumu meeting would further propel Goitab Silibwet Secondary School to greater academic success in Bomet County and beyond.
