The family of 20-year-old Diana Cherono, a student at Rift Valley National Polytechnic in Nakuru pursuing Agriculture Extension in Nakuru, is demanding justice following her brutal murder.
Diana, who hailed from Chepkirip Village in Singorwet Ward, Bomet Central Sub-county, was found dead on April 7 in a sewerage system in Meru County under circumstances that have shocked both her family and the wider community.
Her relatives have expressed deep anguish over the incident, calling on security agencies to expedite investigations and ensure those responsible are brought to book.
They described Diana as a hardworking and disciplined young woman whose life was cut short just as she was pursuing her dreams.

The family is now appealing to the government and relevant authorities to act swiftly, warning against any delays that could deny them justice. They have also urged anyone with information that could aid investigations to come forward.
