St. Joseph Girls Senior School in Kitale has officially opened its second academic term with a Holy Mass that underscored the importance of discipline, consistency, and intentional growth among learners.
The service, led by Rev. Fr. Joseph Odongo, set the tone for the new term with a strong message urging students to focus on the process of learning rather than immediate results. He cautioned against the pursuit of quick success, emphasizing that meaningful achievement is built gradually through sustained effort, patience, and self-discipline.
Fr. Odongo challenged students to prioritize personal growth over merely completing the academic term, noting that character, attitude, and consistency play a critical role in shaping long-term success. He further encouraged learners to define clear goals early and align their daily actions with their broader ambitions.

Orwaru also urged learners to uphold integrity and make decisions that reflect their future aspirations. She appealed to teachers to continue mentoring students, stressing their influence in nurturing both academic performance and character.
The opening Mass marked a reflective start to the term, with both staff and students reminded that consistent effort and purpose-driven learning will be central to achieving positive outcomes in the months ahead.
