Bungoma’s Chebosi Boys lines up high-profile friendlies ahead of Term II games

Excitement is building in Webuye East Sub-county as Chebosi Boys’ High School prepares to host a series of competitive friendly matches at their home ground in Chebosi, Bungoma County, ahead of the much-anticipated Term Two games.

According to the organizer, the school has lined up three crucial build-up fixtures that are expected to test the team’s depth, tactical discipline, and match fitness.

The first encounter will be on April 6, 2026, when Chebosi Boys face off against Butere Boys in what promises to be a thrilling clash between two disciplined sides.

The match is expected to offer an early gauge of Chebosi’s readiness as they fine-tune combinations and sharpen their attacking edge.

On April 8, Chebosi Boys will take on Sirakaru Senior School. The fixture provides another opportunity for the technical bench to assess player performance and experiment with different formations as they seek the right balance ahead of competitive action.

The final friendly will be played on April 9, with Chebosi Boys hosting Sinoko Secondary School from Trans Nzoia County.

This match is expected to inject a regional rivalry flavor, offering Chebosi a chance to test themselves against opposition from outside Bungoma County.

All matches will be played at the Chebosi Boys grounds, giving the home side a familiar environment to build confidence and cohesion.

The coaching team believes the friendlies will not only boost morale but also expose areas that require improvement before the official term two competitions kick off.

The school’s sports department expressed optimism, noting that the squad has shown great commitment during training sessions.

The friendlies are expected to help solidify teamwork, improve match temperament, and strengthen defensive organization.
