Child kidnapping is a serious issue that can cause trauma to families and communities. It can lead to emotional distress, potential child trafficking, and increased security concerns.

The Kisii County Nominated senator, Easy Okenyuri, has condemned the act, emphasizing the importance of parental vigilance and teaching children safety measures. “It’s a violation of children’s rights, and we must do everything to ensure our children are safe,” she said.

The incident highlights the need for increased awareness and community efforts to prevent such crimes. Parents are advised to be more vigilant, especially when strangers visit their homes, and to teach their children how to protect themselves.

Senator Okenyuri urged the police to investigate the matter thoroughly and bring the perpetrator to justice.
