West Mugirango MP Steve Mogaka has assured parents that students in some secondary schools will get modern dormitories to boost their academic performance.
“Good accommodation is key for students’ success, allowing them to focus on studies without worries. Proper rest leads to better concentration and overall academic achievement”.
The MP said that the completion of Nyaigwa Girls modern dormitory will offer enough accommodation for the girls, enabling them to stay together as a family and bond as they face education as a common enemy.
He urged residents to support the government’s development projects instead of criticizing, highlighting the need for improvement of infrastructure in schools and road network.

Mogaka thanked President Ruto for approving a university in Nyamira County, advising students to work hard to secure admission and cut living costs. He noted his NG-CDF has spent millions constructing modern dormitories in schools like Bonyamatuta and Gesiaga Secondary Schools.
He encouraged residents to diversify farm produce for sale outside the county via the Standard Gauge Railway, which will link to Jericho, Bomet, Homa Bay, and Kisumu, boosting trade and education funding for their children.
