Makueni youth urged to abstain from political manipulation

Makueni County Assembly clerk Kevin Mutuku has called upon youth to keep away from politicians who are out to manipulate and use them.

Speaking at a burial in Kathonzweni subcounty, Mutuku called upon politicians to try their best by engaging youth in a more constructive activities rather than using and dumping them,

“You see, there are so many avenues where we can engage the youth. Instead of leading them astray, let us show them the right paths to follow for them to be useful in the society,” he said

He added that instead of giving the youth few coins to deface offices and engage in other vices, leaders should help in building them.

“These youth need mentorship; we should hold their hands and show them the right path. Imagine some of them are very young and fresh from colleges and universities,” Mutuku posed
