Maseno School is set to mark a historic milestone on April 10, 2026, celebrating 120 years of shaping leaders and nurturing academic excellence, Chief Principal Peter Owino has confirmed
Founded in 1906, Maseno School has grown into one of Kenya’s most iconic educational institutions. Over the decades, it has produced generations of distinguished alumni who have excelled in public service, business, and various professional fields.
Among them is Stephen Isaboke, the Broadcasting and Telecommunication Principal Secretary and Class of 1986 graduate, whose career reflects the school’s long-standing commitment to excellence and leadership.
Principal Owino highlighted perseverance as the defining principle that has guided the school through more than a century of growth.
“For 120 years, Maseno School has built young men who excel not only academically but also in character and leadership. The values of discipline, resilience, and hard work, cultivated in our classrooms and on our playing fields, continue to guide both our current students and alumni,” he said.

With 12 decades of history, countless success stories, and a steadfast commitment to nurturing talent, Maseno School continues to stand as a testament to the power of perseverance, character, and leadership—principles that have defined the institution since its founding in 1906.
