St. Joseph’s Boys High School, Kitale basketball team produced a scintillating performance to book a coveted semi-final slot at the ongoing Rift Valley secondary school Term One games being staged at Nakuru Boys High School.
The Kitale-based side, popularly known as JOBO, proved too strong for Londiani High School, cruising to a resounding 103-26 victory in a one-sided quarter-final encounter.
From the opening whistle, JOBO dictated the tempo with swift ball movement, accurate long-range shooting, and a rock-solid defensive setup that left their opponents struggling to find rhythm.
Their journey to the semi-finals has been nothing short of dominant. JOBO opened their campaign with a commanding 70-25 triumph over Lodwar High School in the preliminary round.

They followed it up with another emphatic display, dismantling Nyiro High School 68-17 to seal a place in the quarter-finals.
Across all matches, JOBO have showcased depth, discipline, and tactical superiority, underlining their status as serious title contenders.
As attention shifts to the semi-finals today, confidence remains high within the JOBO camp as they seek to extend their unbeaten run and challenge for regional glory.
Meanwhile, handball quarter-final fixtures for boys are scheduled for 11:00am today.
St Joseph Boys will now face Kipkuyang, as Kamito take on Lemoru, Serem clash with Katilu, and Kitany battle Nakeel. All girls’ quarter-final matches will be played concurrently at 11:00am.
