Endebess Member of Parliament (MP), Dr. Robert Pukose, is making significant strides in improving education and infrastructure in his constituency. He’s taken concrete steps to support schools, including donating school buses to Njoro Secondary School and Chepchoina Secondary School, among others. This gesture is expected to ease the transportation challenges faced by students and enhance their overall learning experience.
Moreover, Dr. Pukose is set to launch NG-CDF bursaries for all Endebess constituency wards at Chapata Secondary soon. This initiative is part of his broader effort to prioritize education and make it more accessible to the people of Endebess. In fact, he’s allocated 35% of Ksh 151 million NG-CDF funds for education bursaries, demonstrating his commitment to supporting needy students.
In addition to these efforts, Dr. Pukose has also embarked on revamping roads within the constituency, including those leading to local schools. He’s compressed roads with quarry dust within ADC farms, making it easier for students and residents to move around. This initiative is expected to improve access to schools, healthcare facilities, and markets, ultimately boosting the local economy.
Dr. Pukose’s community-focused approach extends beyond education and infrastructure. He’s also conducted free surgeries at Endebess District Hospital, focusing on patients with fistulas, and advocated for the inclusion of JSS learners in NG-CDF bursary funding to support vulnerable students.”I’m committed to improve the education within the subcounty by ensuring that the infrastructure,transportation and bursaries to the vulnerable students are all catered for,” Pukose said during the past function.
