ACK Wote township comprehensive school in Makueni County shone in just concluded County Drama and Film festivals held at Moi girls’ Secondary School.
The school, following impressive performance qualified to regional level, to represent the Makueni at Chogaria.
Speaking after conclusion of the drama festivals, the head of department drama and music Januarius Mutiso noted that though they did not make it to regionals last year, having reached sub county level with their modern dance and oral narrative where 24 participants were involved, the school is happy now it is heading to the regionals and very hopeful that they will go up to nationals.

Mutiso added that they had two items; an oral narrative and choral verse with both securing position two.
“We had a very devoted and determined team. We are heading to Chogoria for regionals. I am sure we will get to the top,” Mutiso said

He highly thanked the head of institution (HOI) Onesmus Wambua for the support from sub county to county and beyond. A total of 18 learners will be proceeding to regionals this year.
The head of institution said the school is geared towards producing holistic learners especially in this era of CBE. He congratulated the team adding that the school will accord all the necessary support to the team and others participating in different disciplines.
