As most schools reopen for 2026 on Monday 5, parents have been urged to prepare their children well as they report back to school.
The Cardinal Otunga Mosocho Chief Principal, Dr.Ezekiel Okeyo asked parents to buy enough learning materials, uniform and pay school fees on time to avoid their children from being sent home and waste the study time allocated in the learning calendar.
The school head also encouraged parents to talk to their children to discard unbecoming behaviors that distract them from achieving their desired goals in education.
He further alluded that his school had prepared well for grade 10 placement and asked students admitted to the school to report soon as shown in their admission records.
His message was echoed by an education officer from the area Zachary Onduso who said that discipline among students is vital for their successful education progress.

He expressed his displeasure among some students who exhibited unbecoming behaviors like indulging in illicit brew drinking and betting and advised them to discard the habit before it outgrew and mar their lives.
He asked head teachers to be lenient to parents who delay to pay school fees for their children by listening and assisting them plan how to settle the dues in installments without interrupting the smooth learning of the students.
Onduso who is the proprietor of Olympic Schools in the region cautioned also parents against pressurizing headteachers to admit their children back to school without all requirements, saying that they must take their parental responsibilities seriously.
