Born and raised in a rural village, Obadiah Ndiema has steadily risen through the ranks to become one of Kenya’s promising footballers.  demonstrated that talent can emerge from even the most remote corners of the country.

His journey began in Class Three at St. Patrick Primary School in Kericho County, where scouts spotted his potential and recruited him into the Ujuzi Young Stars Academy. Later, his parents transferred him to Makutano Primary School in West Pokot County, where he sat for his KCPE examinations.

With strong academic performance, Ndiema joined Kapenguria Boys Secondary School. There, he not only excelled in academics but also played for Kapenguria Heroes, a local team largely made up of students. The team’s breakthrough came when they won the Chapa Dimba tournament, earning a rare opportunity to travel to London for friendly matches.

During their week-long stay in London, the players watched Tottenham face Leicester at Wembley Stadium and played against Revival Stars Church team, an experience Ndiema describes as unforgettable.
