KUPPET has directed branches to submit completed election documents to the National Office at KUPPET House, Nextgen Mall, Mombasa Road.

The Kenya Union of Post-Primary Education Teachers (KUPPET) has released detailed guidelines and documents to guide the preparation and conduct of its 2026 branch elections.

In a circular dated November 26, 2025, Secretary General Akelo Misori directed all branch executive secretaries to immediately circulate the election materials to members in their respective branches.

The circular includes the full 2026 election timetable, official nomination forms, and the notice and regulations governing the branch elections.

KUPPET emphasises that all nomination forms must be completed at the branch office and in the physical presence of the branch executive secretary.

The union insists that the deadlines set out in the regulations must be strictly adhered to.

Once filled out, all nomination forms must be forwarded to the National Office, accompanied by an original bank deposit slip.

These documents may be delivered in person to the Secretary General’s Office at KUPPET House, Nextgen Mall along Mombasa Road in Nairobi, or sent through reputable courier services such as G4S or Wells Fargo.

The union also highlights the importance of accuracy when entering candidate names, noting that names must appear exactly as they appear on the National Identity Card, with no nicknames, abbreviations, or informal variations permitted.

Branch officials have been urged to ensure that every member receives the information without fail, as part of efforts to maintain transparency and smooth coordination ahead of the election period.

KUPPET has advised that any questions concerning the election process be directed to the Secretary General’s Office through the official union email, info@kuppet-kenya.org.

The communication signals the union’s early move to prepare its membership for orderly, credible, and well-managed elections in 2026.
