Parents from Etago Sub County in Kisii have asked the CS for education Julius Ogamba to intervene and stop principals from sending their children home for school fees.
Led by Joash Nyangoya they said that third term is too short and it needs to be utilized well by learners who should remain in class to cover the syllabus instead of loitering on the village paths.
“Let candidates remain in class we know we shall clear the fees some of this problems have been created by delay in capitation money.” He said
The parents asked the National government to consider scrapping the capitation money sent to schools claiming that is not regularly and this causes a lot of confusion to schools on their financial plans.
