Kitui County Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Secretary, Mutunga Ndingo, has raised concern over what he termed as unfair promotion of teachers in the region.

Speaking on Thursday, Ndingo faulted the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) for sidelining local teachers in promotions, saying most positions were being awarded to teachers from other regions who are later transferred to Kitui, leaving native teachers disadvantaged.
