Musingu High School are through to the FEASSSA Boys’ Football Final after edging St. Joseph’s Boys Kitale (Jobo) 4-3 on penalties in a dramatic two-day semifinal showdown.
The contest, staged at Bukhungu Stadium on yesterday, descended into chaos when Musingu grabbed a last-minute equaliser to make it 1-1.
Ecstatic fans stormed the pitch in celebrations, forcing officials to abandon the match with two minutes still left to play.
On Friday, the semifinal resumed at Moi Stadium in Kisumu, with the teams playing out the remaining minutes of regulation time.
Neither side managed to find a winner, sending the clash straight into a tense penalty shootout.

The Scorpions of Musingu kept their composure from the spot, converting four penalties against Jobo’s three, to seal a famous victory and a place in the grand finale.
The win means Musingu will now face Bukedea Comprehensive School of Uganda in today’s final at the same venue.
It promises to be a fierce contest, as the Scorpions seek regional glory against a side flying the Ugandan flag high.
For Musingu, who last won a major trophy in 1994, the journey to the final has been nothing short of dramatic — from the heartbreak of abandoned play to the ecstasy of a penalty triumph.
Now, they stand just one match away from writing history.
