Police arrests of suspected criminals behind the deaths of scores of students in West Pokot are still underway, as others are all transferred to Kitale police, owing to the outrage.
Officers from Kapenguria Police exhumed the remains of victims believed to have died at the hands of cannibals cannibalism and took them for forensic analysis.
According to the victim’s child, “We had two large snakes, one male and the other female. Our parents would buy several packets of lollipops, which we used to make snakes lick. Afterwards, we would use the lollipops to entice learners and even friends who licked them. These lollipops had a never-before-seen magic as they would make those who licked them take leave of their senses by following them up to their homes, where they met their untimely deaths.
The child confessed that there was a child who confessed that he was a Christian and refused to denounce his faith even through suffering.
The child asked to be pardoned, but their father refused, “Am I not a friend of yours?”Why can’t you just set me free?” The child was reporting while crying. Our father never wasted time; he chopped the hands from the shoulders and went ahead and killed our friend.
Mysteriously,the flesh refused to cook as the body kept talking to them as it stated that,”My God will punish you severely”
According to the child,this was their family’s turning point since tragedy after tragedy were being reported from time to time till they now got nabbed.
