Parents of Nyati Primary School Kamahuha, in Makuyu, Maragua Central staged a passionate protest this morning, vehemently opposing the abrupt transfer of their highly regarded Head teacher, Mr. S. Mwangi.
The demonstration saw a united front from the school community, who directly accused the incumbent Maragua Member of Parliament Mary Wamaua Waithira Njoroge of orchestrating the transfer due to an alleged personal vendetta against Mwangi.
“Come rain or shine, Mr. S. Mwangi must remain at Nyati Primary School.” The protesting parents stated their unwavering ultimatum.

They emphatically rejected any proposal to replace him with Madam Florence from Kaharati Primary School, asserting they would not permit such a change.
The parents further warned of significant escalation in their protests if the transfer proceeds, stressing that they would not accept any head teacher imposed on them through what they perceive as political interference.
