Kathonzweni AIC day and boarding comprehensive school hosts this year’s primary schools music festival.
Speaking at his office, deputy head teacher James Munyalo noted that this is the second year they are hosting consecutively, thanking the ministry of education and music officials for settling on their school again.
He added that they have three villages for the pupil to sleep in, assuring their nice hosting throughout the three days they will be there. The event which started yesterday, Monday, June16, will run till Thursday, June 19, 2025.
“One thing we have ensured security for learners and participants. Our school has enough water and is accessible thus we welcome any major event in future,” Munyalo said.

He noted that they have received a big team this year with different categories compared to last year.
As the host, they are too not left behind; they have the primary section with two teams namely solo and music section, and junior secondary 4 teams with music team that has gone to nationals and still waiting to head there again.
He wished the participants good health and success in what they have worked for encouraging learners to involve themselves in co-curricular activities besides class work.
