Kisii High School Chief Principal Fred Mogaka has thanked the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) for fair promotions which saw long serving teachers being promoted to the rank of Principal in the recently released list of over 25,000 teachers who were promoted by the Commission.
According Mogaka, class room teachers serve with dedication and they deserve to be rewarded with promotions for their efforts they put in place in curriculum delivery under challenging circumstances.
“Teachers work under hard conditions with meager salaries as compared to their colleagues in other careers. The only consolation they get is through promotion not necessarily for monetary gain, but for career progression,” said Mogaka, who also congratulated newly promoted Principals in the region.
