Good news as Governor Kachapin commissions new hostel at Chemolo Secondary

The Governor of West Pokot County, Simon Kachapin, has officially commissioned a hostel at Chemolo Secondary School in Tapach Ward.
Speaking during the launch of the state-of-the-art design, the governor stated that the hostel’s construction aimed to decongest learners and create adequate space for the expansion of other school facilities.

The governor stated that creating sufficient education opportunities was at the top of his manifesto.
He assured residents that the County Government of West Pokot will continue creating more learning opportunities in all learning areas, from early childhood education to high school and even other institutions of higher learning.
Other areas that received a shot in the arm was the women groups which were assisted with finances to boost their small and medium enterprises.
