West Mugirango Constituency has released education bursary money to benefit university and secondary school students.
Area MP, Steve Mogaka, announced this when he presided over the exercise last Monday at the Constituency offices.
He said the KSh40 million distribution would be shared equally between the university and secondary school students who applied for the money.
“Students who applied for the funds will be given without discrimination,” he said.

The MP asked the beneficiaries to use the money prudently by working hard in class to improve their grades, which will enable them to get job placement in an ever-competitive world.
He asked those joining universities to pursue careers in engineering, information science, technology, and medicine because these fields tend to have an advantage in the job market.
The legislator appealed to the youth to avoid drug abuse and other money-wasting activities like betting and instead engage in constructive activities like church services, community work, and group studies to add value to their lives.
