Joy as Webuye West college  gets a bus donation from the area MP

Webuye West Technical Training College has received a major boost after area Member of Parliament Dan Wanyama donated a fully-equipped bus to enhance student mobility and hands-on training.

The donation underscores the legislator’s commitment to strengthening technical education in the region.

During the handover ceremony, attended by students, faculty, and local leaders, Senior Principal Herbert Wanyonyi praised the initiative, terming it a game-changer for the institution.

“This bus will significantly ease student transportation for industrial visits and practical training sessions, which are essential for skills development. We deeply appreciate MP Wanyama’s support in advancing education,” Wanyonyi said.

He pledged to work with stakeholders to elevate the college to national prominence.

In his remarks, MP Wanyama emphasized the critical role of vocational training in addressing unemployment and fostering economic growth. He urged students to take full advantage of the institution’s programs.

“Technical skills are the backbone of economic progress. I encourage students to remain focused and fully utilize the resources provided to them.
