Chaos erupted at Teremi Boys High School yesterday night as students went on a rampage, forcing anti-riot police to intervene.
The cause of the unrest is yet to be determined, and the situation remained tense late into the night.
The students reportedly engaged in destructive behaviour within the school compound, prompting the authorities to dispatch police officers to contain the situation.
When contacted for comment, the school’s Chief Principal, Elphas Luvaso, shared a brief but startling message: “Thugs came at night to kill me.” The Principal did not elaborate further, leaving questions about whether external threats played a role in the unrest.
